Badodi Giovanni 2
(Reggio Emilia, 1937)
He comes from the professional world of the typographic art reproduction.
His interest in the photography starts in 1980. Ten years later he attends a workshop with Oliviero Toscani. He focuses his interest specifically on architecture and beaux arts photography.
In the series Landscapes Badodi represents the space: he looks at the street walls, waiting, sometimes, for its consumption, for the water washing out the plaster and then he can discover landscapes.
In the Space of Art, starting from the real document, the space is transformed according to the narrative tradition of the Italian Novecento and becomes a “metaspazio”: a place in a suspended mental time.
