He lives and works in Torino. He gets a degree in Journalism at the Complutense University in Madrid, in 1990. He quickly shows a passion for photography that will become a profession as an instrument of social activism. In 1994 moves to Torino and since 1997 he works for Grazia Neri Photo Agency. His works have been published on the main italian and international newspapers and magazines such as:  La Stampa, La Repubblica, Il Corriere della Sera, Panorama, L´Espresso, Libération, Photo und Presseagen, Sonntag Zeitung, Der Spigel, Finanz Und Wirtschaf,  Atlantic Monthly.

In May 2006 he wins the second prize “Amilcare Ponchielli” as best photographic project, with the work “I custodi della biodiversità” developed in cooperation with FAO.
