He started to work in
the second half of the 60’ies, by documenting
the Italian social-political and cultural reality. His pictures have
been publieshed mostly on Il
Messagero and many other Italian newspapers, magazines and press
agencies. In 1980 he voluntarily left photography to follow his of
his artistic passion.
He will start again to
photograph in 1995 with the reportages on Spain
and Portugal.
He worked with La
Repubblica, Il Messaggero,
L´Espresso, Il Mondo, Sipario, L´Unità.
Some of his pictures have been published also on Life and Libération and are placed in the France
Press, BBC and
RAI archives.
He exhibited in public
and private spaces, such as Nova Pesa and Acata
in Rome, Koenig Gallery in Stoccarda, Central
Station Gallery in Rome,
Milano
and Venice, the Archiginnasio in Bologna, the Trastevere
Museum in Rome,
Fondazione Italiana per la Fotografia in Torino.
In 2008 he participated in the exhibition “United Artists of
Italy” at
the Museum
of Modern Art in
St. Etienne, dedicated to the
most important italian photographers.
