Since 1974 lives and works in Italy. He left his country in 1966 and attended the Folkwangschule für Gestaltung in Essen, Germany, (1967-1972) specializing in photojournalism with Otto Steinert and start after working as an independent photojournalist. He is member of the Foreign Press Association in Italy and has worked with major newspapers in German, Swedish and Danish (Der Spiegel, Stern, Die Zeit, Geo, Essen und Trinken, Dagens Nyheter, Politiken. Since 1984 he is Italian citizen.He has to him credit numerous publications in Italy and abroad, solo and group exhibitions: National Museum of Photography, Kecskemét, Hungary (1995), Hungarian Academy, Rome and the Castle Museum of Esztergom in Hungary (1996) Cultural Center Cankarjev Dom, Ljubljana Castelluccio di Pienza (1998), Budapest Galéria, Budapest (with Paola Agosti) (2002); Mazzotta Foundation, Milan Italiani a tavola e Un bacio, due baci…(group exhibition, 2003;) Kolta Galéria, Budapest and Dunakanyar Fotoklub, Vac (Hungary, (2008). Some of his photographs are in the permanent collections of the major Hungarian museums.
