Verzone Paolo
(Torino 1967).
He lives and works in Paris. At the beginning of the 90’ies, he stars working as portraitist and
reporter and realizes together with Alessandro Albert, a work on the
Muscovites, collected in a book “Volti di Passaggio”
In the following years he develops personal projects among which a work on Peshawar and he is selected among the finalists of the Leica Oskar Barnack Award.
The project Seeuropeans, realized together with Alessando Albert gets a prize at the World Press Photo 2001, portrait section. In 2003 he realizes a reportage on the missionaries inCamobogia , Sri Lanka and Albania , published in a book edited
by Peliti & Associati, Roma.
As portraitist and reporter he cooperates with the most important national and international magazines, among which Ventiquattro, Geo, Flair, Le Monde 2, Liberation, D , Io Donna.
His works are present in the collections of the V&A Museum of London, of the Bibliothèque Nazionale of Parigi and of the Istituto Nazionale per la Grafica of Rome.
